The Mn-Fe layered double hydroxide using chloride in the interlayer anion was successfully synthesized chemical co-precipitation methods. LDH then applied as adsorbent for arsenic removal from synthetic acid mine drainage. characterizations of SEM and XRD analysis showed that had many different functional groups a high specific surface area adsorption processes. morphological structure by SEM-EDS method shows round shape with particle size about 1 μm, XRF Mn Fe elements dominate more than other components.
